A wide range of services form part of the delivery of a flexible pipe in order to ensure that the Client gets the optimum solution. Such services include Design, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Testing and Documentation, which are all performed by experienced and skilled NKT Flexibles personnel.

Accessories such as bendstiffeners, limitors and restrictors, buoyancy systems, clamps, tethers, clamp weights etc. are procured from recognized suppliers. The design of such products are performed in accordance with specifications drawn up by NKT Flexibles to ensure proper interface to the flexible pipe products.

Engineering capability
NKT Flexibles offers the full scope of product related engineering services for the various project stages from preliminary evaluations based upon provisional design parameters to detailed analyses comprising system behaviour studies, stress analyses, hydraulic flow calculations, evaluation of special pipe features and detailed components analyses. The majority of the above engineering services are based upon advanced computer software.
