Interview

If you have been invited to an interview please do not get nervous. We see job interviews as a mutual exchange of information; we need to learn about your background and your qualifications, and you need to find out whether NKT Flexibles is the right company for your future career.
Usually, you will have two interviews before possibly being offered a position. In the first interview the line manager and an employee from the appropriate department will participate. The aim of this interview is to establish your professional qualifications and to get a mutual feeling of the chemistry between you and the participants from NKT Flexibles. This interview normally contains a presentation of NKT Flexibles and the job as well as a possibility for you to elaborate on your application. We will also talk about practical matters in connection with a commencement, mutual expectations, salary, working hours, transportation, lunch etc.
An interview will normally take 1-1.5 hours. If you did not include your diplomas and possible references in your application you should bring them to this interview.

When the first round of interviews has been concluded, the head of department and our HR Manager will decide which candidates should be invited for a second interview.

The second interview is primarily about the more personal qualifications. We usually use a personality test, and we will give a feedback on the test during the interview. The personality test helps us qualify the questions we ask and gives us a picture of how comfortable you will be in the job. Our HR Manager and the line manager will participate in this second interview and afterwards they will evaluate all remaining candidates and possible references.

The candidate valued to be the best qualified will then be contacted and offered the job.

If you are applying as an operator in Kalundborg, the interview will be conducted by the production manager. The job as operator does not normally require a personality test.
