Appraisal interviews
On a day-to-day basis there is often no time to discuss long-term and basic conditions with regard to your employment.
Therefore, it is the aim of NKT Flexibles that all employees have an opportunity to participate in an annual appraisal interview with their superior. The interview will secure that the competences of the individual employee are used in the best possible way in connection with the company, the department and the personal goals.
The interview is divided into the following categories:
- follow-up on goals and tasks for the past period
- New personal goals for the coming period. The personal goals must be linked to the department’s goals
- career and competences where individual development activities are agreed upon based on the competences needed as well as a clarification of wishes for a career development both short and long term
- feedback and cooperation
In order to create a good basis for a rewarding dialogue it is important that both parties are well prepared and have decided how the past period has elapsed as well as how to establish the expectations to the future. Both parties are responsible for the interview being carried out and also for the current dialogue as to the decisions. The HR department will act as a guarantor that the appraisal interview is carried out in accordance with the company’s intentions.
