Satisfaction polls

In NKT Flexibles we have since 1999 systematically carried out yearly opinion polls among our employees.

The aim of the opinion polls is firstly to be able to measure the level of employee satisfaction and give feedback as to whether we are able to implement and develop our present initiatives within areas as competence development, appraisal interviews, personal and technical development possibilities, information and decision processes and management.

The results of the opinion polls have shown an increasing employee satisfaction. The conclusion of the result for 2005 is that the employee welfare is very good. Some of the things the employees have emphasized as positive are:

My work is important – it is not “just a job”
I have faith in my superior
It is my opinion that changes increase my motivation
I regard my immediate superior both as a colleague and a superior
In NKTF we are willing to make an extra effort to get the job done
My immediate superior has faith in me
In our department we have a good working environment
As a new employee in NKTF you feel welcome
I can influence the way in which I carry out my duties
I am proud to be a part of the NKTF team

The areas where the employees find that NKTF could be better are used actively by preparing action plans including decisions and descriptions as to which activities should be carried out in order to enhance the welfare for us all.
