Quality Assurance

NKT Flexibles has established a Quality System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, API Q1 and also the API 17J Monogram Licence. The quality system is dedicated to the manufacture of flexible pipes from the contract and design review phase, through the manufacturing quality plan, to the as-built documentation. Our Quality Manual encompasses the following activities:

- Contract review
- Design review
- Qualified sub-suppliers 
- Manufacturing quality plan
- Production specification
- Qualified measuring methods
- As-built documentation

Health, Safety, Environment & Welfare

We have established a Health, Safety, Environment and Welfare policy documenting the company's aim with regard to these areas. It complies fully with the Danish Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Danish environment acts. It is the company’s priority to actively work to minimize the risk of accidents in relation to working conditions and to ensure that the products and components are protected against any factor that could cause defects or delay production of the final product.

Continuous monitoring of these areas, combined with employee education ensures a continuous improvement of safety and protection of the environment.
